د ل تو چاہتا ہے کہ دل میں بسا لُوں تم کو

کبھی آؤ تم تو پاس بٹھا لُوں تم کو

جی بھر کے دیکھوں آنکھوں میں سجا لُوں تم کو

کچھ وعدے میں کروں اور کروا لُوں تم سے

تم میرے ہو کسی کاغذ پے لکھوا لُوں تم سے

مگر پھر سوچتی ہوں کہ تمہارا کیا ہے

ہزار وعد وں سے پھر ہونہی مُکر جاؤ گے

ہر رشتہ سے بڑھ کر تمہیں اپنا ما نا

خود غرض د نیا سے منفرد جا نا

پھر تم نے ایسا کیوں کیا؟

لے کے مجبو ریوں کا نام چلے گۓ نا

کر کے محبت دیکھو میں سزا پا رہی ہوں

دل ہے مردہ مگر جیے جا رہی ہوں

گلہ بھی کیا کسی سے جب خطا ہے اپنی

تیری فرصت کی دل لگی کو میں محبت سمجھی
